Termly Awards and Reviews

At the end of every Term or the Start of the following term we hold our termly review (January, April and July).

This sounds very formal but it really is a fun review of the term.

It normally takes 1 hour and at the end of Troop meeting. Therefore we invite the parent to come down to the Troop meeting starts at 8-30 and join is in the review of the term and hopefully see your Scout presented badge and may be even a termly award.

The night starts with a review of the term which is a brief review by Stuart followed by a slide show of all the photos taken by leaders throughout the term.
After the review we present all the badges the Scouts have earnt over the last term.
Once all the badges have been presented we then present our termly awards and certificates which are given to the Scouts that the leaders think have been the best in the troop for that award.
The Scouts get to keep the Trophy for that entire term and should bring them back to Scouts at the end of the term to be awarded to the next Scout.

o Leadership of the Term
o New Scout of the Term

o Scout of Term
Finally if we have any, then we will present the Chief Scout Gold Award which is the highest award a Scout can attain in the Scout Section.
