Mercury Cub Pack
Welcome to 8th Hornchurch Mercury Cubs!
We’re a fun and friendly group for young people aged 8 to 10, meeting every Thursday during term time from 7:15 to 8:45pm at St Andrew’s Church Hall, Hornchurch.
Each week, with Ian, George and Richard help our Cubs get stuck into a variety of exciting activities that help them explore the world, build confidence, and learn new skills. From creative crafts and energetic games to outdoor adventures and local community visits, there’s always something new to enjoy!
Cubs also work towards badges that celebrate their achievements in areas like teamwork, nature, creativity, and being helpful. It’s a fun and rewarding way to see how far they’ve come.
We place a big focus on kindness, respect, and being helpful to others. Our group is all about creating a strong sense of belonging, friendship, and responsibility.
Beyond our weekly meetups, we love to organise special events like fun days, hikes, and even the occasional sleepover—perfect opportunities for making great memories and trying something new.
